Welcome to Studio Sabine! If you have known my work, my studio or my art for a while, you may remember me as Studio Alice or Welcome to Alice. Studio Alice is now becoming Studio Sabine, but the artist, the paintings, the stories and the wonderfully eccentric world behind them remain the same.
Studio Sabine is the new name for Studio Alice.
Studio Sabine is the new home of Welcome to Alice.
And most importantly, Studio Sabine is the studio of Australian artist Sabine Von Graz.

From Studio Alice to Studio Sabine
For many years, my studio and artistic world were known as Studio Alice and Welcome to Alice. The name Alice became closely connected with my fairytale-inspired paintings, my Australian Fairytales series, my studio events and the magical world I created around my art.
But as my work has developed, it has become increasingly important for the studio to carry my own name.
So Studio Alice is now Studio Sabine.
Welcome to Alice is now Studio Sabine.
Studio Sabine is Sabine Von Graz.
The name has changed, but the spirit of the studio has not.
Studio Sabine continues the story that began with Studio Alice — a place where fairytales meet reality, Old Master painting meets contemporary ideas, and beauty often comes with a little bite.
Meet Sabine Von Graz
Sabine Von Graz is an Austrian-born Australian artist whose work explores fairytales, childhood memories, family relationships, nature, identity and the strange, beautiful and sometimes uncomfortable realities of modern life.
Working primarily in oil and acrylic, Sabine combines techniques inspired by the Old Masters with contemporary imagery, symbolism and a distinctly Australian perspective.
Her paintings often look beautiful at first glance — but look a little closer and there is usually another story waiting to be discovered.
This is the world of Studio Sabine.
This is the continuing story of Studio Alice.
